I believe I have a 2015 or 2016 EZGO TXT48 electric golf cart and it's not running.
The charger had appeared to charge the cart (Light on the charger) but there was no blinking on the charge port like last year.
Before I hooked it up to the charger, I did get it running backwards and forwards just to test.
Then I took it off the charger when it was over 80% and turned the key on and nothing. Won't go in reverse or forward.
I then switched from on to tow. When I switched back from tow to on, I hear a single quick beep and nothing else.
I did notice that my charge port wire with the grey box (thermal resister?) was really corroded and this past weekend broke off. So I'm ordering a new charger port.
Grabbed a tester and did get 48v from the batteries so there's a complete circuit there.
I'm wondering if a bad charge port with those wires can lockout a golf cart or cause this problem. Or if it's a solenoid or even worse, controller problem.
