2000 EZ-GO TXT Need help with wiring

I bought a 2000 EZ-GO TXT and the wiring is all messed up because the car goes in reverse when you put it to go forward and vice versa. I have the stock motor in it with an ALLTRAX SR48500 controller in it. There are loose wires by the controller and fwd/rev switch area. I have no idea where any cable is suppose to go. The cart is doing 12mph right now and was told with this controller i should be going faster than that. Very confused, can anyone please help.

Check out the schematics at this link. One of them should help you out - most likely the non-PDS, but verify first.
