Been shopping for tires for my EZGO. Basic question: are trailer tires interchangeable with golf cart tires?

Is the lug pattern the same ? Yes. I used harbor freight 12 in trailer wheels to increase my top speed from 10mph to 13. Well I did until I popped 1 took them of and the unpopped one was stolen from my trailer. I have broken fingers for less but this tweeker didn't get caught
