Battery meter

I have a 2015 Ezgo Rxv. Had the state of charge analog meter and changed to a digital run leader meter. It’s a 48v and tapped in to negative, positive and switch keys. The percentage of the battery displays 100% always. Why are my voltage percentages not showing that the batteries are depleting. The gauge is set to 12 volt displaying full indicators but when changed to 48v within the settings of the gauge it states the battery is completely discharged. What am I missing here? Not
plug and play for sure.

Hi, may I ask how you tapped into the negative, positive and switch keys. What wires did you select on the harness? I have 6 leads?

It shows a percentage instead of the voltage? I wouldn't use it.
