  • suspension mods after installing lithium battery

I have recently had 36 volt lithium battery installed. I am very pleased with the performance, accelerates faster, but don't think it has added a lot to top end speed. But the ride is quite harsh after reducing the sprung weight of the cart. I was told by dealer who installed battery that ez go was adding weights to their new units with lithium batteries, don't know that as a fact, but seems a poor solution. I am considering removing some leaves from rear springs. Anybody with experience in such?

You should not change it and instead enjoy the slightly increased carry capacity. Who or what made you believe that certain batteries would increase the top speed? That's all in the motor controller and gearing
