  • Lithium Ion Pho 4 batteries for 48v EZ Go

Hi! I am thinking about buying Lithium Ion batteries for my cart. Does anyone here have any experience with them?
    Thanks!

I'm thinking about doing the same thing. I have a 36v ezgo 1999 txt stock cart. I think I want to upgrade to 48v. All the research I have done tells me that you have to look at the continues amp draw on the battery pack needs to be at least 100amps and the bms in the battery has to be set to allow that with out shutting the battery pack down. If you have a 600amp controller it will not work.
What I think I want is a navitas 440 controller heavy duty solenoid at 200 amps and some 48v Battery pack. Not sure which one yet.
I say a post where someone bought Dakota batteries and sent them back because the bms keep shutting down when he tried to start going up Hill but he didn't say what controller he had. Any comments on this would be great.
