I purchased a 1992 36v golf cart , charged the battery's from being dead who know how long. one battery was low on water, I filled it . after about 2 hours i checked the they all were at 5.72 volts. when I put it in reverse it beeps. so I went ahead and put it back on the charger. it does not move at all. where should I start?
I checked the battery's after about 4 hours, all 6 show at 6.0 volts. so I plan on letting them charge over night, then I will let them set 2 days and recheck the volts see if they hold.
some of the newer models have a extra wire on the female socket of the charger as a safety, does the 1992 model have anything like this that could be bad. also planning on checking the motor also in the next few days too.
