Need info older ezgo txt

I'm new to golf carts. I was given an older txt golf cart that was unwired and motor removed...I sent the motor if to be checked and cleaned. It's now good. I have wired the a1 a2 s1 s2 wires to the motor and wired the batteries in series.... but need help on where to hook up the extra wire coming off the first positive and the extra coming from the last negative.... it's an older 36 volt carry... i'm guessing late 90s

It sounds like the wires you are referring to, if they are a smaller gauge than the battery cables, are the wires that go to your charge receptacle. These wires carry the voltage from your charger to your battery pack. Hope this helps.
