Assuming there has been good maintenance and winter storage preparation, How long should NEW 6 VOLT batteries last on my 2005 EZGO Electric?

Don't know what normal is but I am just now having to replace batteries bought in 2012 about this time of year. That is with good care keeping charge up. I think the last set lasted 5years..
