I just purchased a 2009 36V EZGO TXT PDS, It had a new FSIP 36VTORQUEEZ motor installed but it will only run about 7 mph. The batteries are 1 year old Trojans and are in good shape. I am hoping for an easy solution but any help or thoughts is appreciated.

We are newbies too. Just bought a 2005. Has new batteries. It ran great the first month or so then all of a sudden it ran really slow. We changed out the solenoid and at first it solved the problem. Then a day later it was slow again. We notice if we stop and run it in reverse then switch it to forward it usually solves the problem. But if we stop and start it runs slow again. It's almost like we have to rewind it in reverse to give it power again. We are thinking it could be the speed sensor. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
