Ez go Switch

I have a 1994 Ez Go Medalist 36 v cart. I am putting on a volt reducer to run lights. I have it wired except for a wire it says to run to ignition switch. It has a 2 prong switch with a blue & green to it. Can I use this switch ? Or do I need to install a 3 prong switch?

Just find the side of the switch with a volt meter that doesn't have voltage when the keys off. It should gain voltage only when the key is turned on
