When it comes to fixing issues with EZGO 48V charger, some folks have tried swapping out the fuse, but there's a common problem that keeps popping up. You see, these chargers, especially the Powerwise chargers, have a bit of a reputation for blowing fuses whenever something goes wonky with what's called the diode board. So, nowadays, whenever I see a blown fuse in one of these chargers, my first move is to check out that diode board because nine times out of ten, that's what's causing the fuse to blow.
What's happening is that when this diode board decides to act up, it's like it sends a signal to the fuse to call it quits. Instead of just swapping out fuse after fuse, we're going straight to the diode board because that's where the real trouble usually lies. So if you ever keep running into a blown fuse in your EZGO charger, don't sweat it too much. It's probably just that diode board acting up again.
