RXV takes bumps like a tank. Hitting a bump with front wheels (18 x 8.5) is like slamming into a curb....rear end OK. Any way....any tricks to soften the ride?

The EZGO RXV is known for having a reasonably harsh ride which is partly due to its design and the use of coilover shocks (item number 10 in attached photo). Now replacing shocks does little to soften the ride because shocks primarily control the rebound and compression of the springs not the ride quality itself. To truly soften the ride, you would need to replace the coil springs with softer ones, which would absorb bumps more effectively.

As for tricks to improve the ride, try reducing the front tire pressure to around 7 psi while keeping the rear tires at 14 psi, or no less than 10 psi. Adjust the tire pressures as necessary to find the optimal balance for a smoother ride.
