The front end of my RXV (2-3 years old, bought used..low hours) is crap. feels like I've hit a curb every time I take a bump on the golf course (grass). Any way t soften this ride?? Shocks, struts....??

The suspension on these carts is notoriously rough, particularly on the first and second generation models. This can make even small bumps feel quite jarring. There are a few things you might consider to soften your ride and improve your overall driving experience.
First off, take a look at your tires. One immediate and cost effective way to potentially improve the ride is by adjusting your tire pressure. If you're running at 20 psi in the front tires, try reducing it to around 10 psi and see if that makes a difference. Lower air pressure can help absorb some of the impacts from bumps, providing a softer ride.
Additionally, consider the size and type of your tires. Fatter tires with smaller rims can help to cushion the ride over rough terrain. The larger contact patch and increased sidewall flex can absorb more of the shock from bumps. Lower profile tires on larger rims tend to offer a harsher ride, so switching to a configuration with more sidewall can help mitigate this.
The quality of the tires themselves also plays a significant role. Unfortunately, many golf cart tires aren’t subjected to the same rigorous quality controls as automotive tires. This is primarily because they’re considered low speed vehicle tires, and the profit margins on these products are lower. As a result, it’s not uncommon to find golf cart tires that are slightly out of round right out of the box. This inconsistency can contribute to a rougher ride as well, as an out-of-round tire won’t roll as smoothly and can cause additional vibrations.
Shocks don't play any role in ride quality, but you might want to consider upgrading to softer springs if available. While the stock suspension components on many golf carts are designed to be durable, they often lack the finesse needed for a truly comfortable ride. Another factor to consider is the overall weight distribution and load on your cart.
Overall, the ride quality is a known issue, and starting with tire adjustments can provide immediate feedback and potentially improve your ride. Investing in higher quality tires and considering suspension upgrades can further increase comfort. Consider reaching out to EZGO in this thread to share your concerns about the rough ride. Your feedback can help drive future improvements. If you have any questions feel free to ask!
