How do I change front wheel bearings on a 2012 RXV?

    Thanks,

    Kevin

Remove the wheel. There is a metal cap covering the center of the hub. Carefully remove the cap using a large screwdriver and a hammer working out the cap from the center of the hub. This will expose the nut on the end of the axle (lotsa grease) remove the cotter pin and unscrew the nut (should be no more than finger tight). Pull off the hub your bearings will be inside the hub ( one on each side of the hub)and should all but fallout after removing the grease seal on the back side of the hub. Install new bearings with lots more grease, install new grease seal gently tapping it in place with a rubber hammer. Put a thin coating of grease on the spindle where the grease seal rides. put hub on the spindle, install washer, nut and cotter pin (again finger tight). Tap hub cover into place with rubber hammer.

Same procedure although never had much luck using channel locks to remove the cap.
