1995 EZGO solenoid

I have a wiring diagram for 1995 series EZGO,but the solenoid has nothing for pos in or out to controller can any one tell me about the big post

Solenoids don't usually have polarity. They work based on electricity flowing through their coil, not on specific positive or negative directions. On the solenoid, the big studs handle high current, with one connected to the battery pack's positive terminal and the other to the motor and controller. The two small studs control the solenoid coil.
