newbie with a cart issue

I have a 98 ezgo series cart. It has an issue that I can't find or fix.It has a lift and over sized tires with a dd 500 amp controller and motor. It ran good then just quit. It wouldn't do anything for two days then ran for 10 mins and hasn't ran since. I have checked all the connections and even took it to a shop. They said it was the controller. I replaced the controller with one that a friend had that I knew was good. Its an 400 amp. It lights up and everything like it should but no movement. It blinks 4 times green and then just blinks red. I'm not sure where to go next. Any help would be great.

you did not say what type of controller was blinking so go to that controllers website and download the trouble shooting tips, the blinking is telling you something and should be an easy fix
