  • 24V Ezgo Marathon

I have a 1991 EZGO Marathon Electric. All I have for Battery's are 6 (Volt Battery's. If I take all six Battery's and Connect them Parallel I will have double the Run Time But How Much Speed/Power will I have?

Is there any other way I can connect my 8 Volt Batterys, Be able to Charge them with a regular Charger and Keep it under 36V?

    Please Help

    Thanks,

    Matt

Your header says "24V Ezgo Marathon", Marathon carts in 1991 were 36v.
You will need 6x6v batteries or any combination connected in series that totals 36v.
You cannot use 8v batteries for this application.

What if I use (3) 12V Deep Cycle?

You can do that but it will affect your runtime drastically.

What is the end result your trying to accomplish, are you having problems now or are you trying to design something better.
