What is the best way to clean electrical area?

Hey all,
What is the best process to use to clean this area of my cart? I am very afraid to use any water, but I am going to try to replace the solenoid this weekend, and I need to get all the salt, sand, and mud cleaned up. Any advice will be much appreciated!

First take a leaf blower and blow all of it you can out. Then with good care spray water with baking soda mixed with it to stop the acid if any is present from batteries.

If you are pulling the batteries out as well I would clean the battery frame with 25% baking/water and paint it. You can pressure wash or hose most of the area but don't spray much on the controller/microswitches and you should be OK.
