1986 rear differential

Does anyone know how much gear lube the rear differential holds? I put a quart in, and it is still not up to the fill plug.

Hi. Use 90 weight gear lube and fill the rear until it pours out of the fill hole you are filling it from (the rubber plug on the back of the rear cover)
