Ez-Go = No go

Good afternoon to you all, Can you help a new guy out. My EZ-GO cart goes forward fine, but not in reverse. No reverse beeper, and no movement.
Do you think it is the switch? It is the small switch on the dashboard type.

It sounds like you have an electric cart that has a F-N-R switch on the dash is this correct?
If so, the switch could be bad. Have you checked it with a meter?
