2006 takes charge but stops running

New cart for us. Taking a charge but once we go a couple feet it stops, almost as if the "breaks" were put on. We are trying to run diagnostic, we get the 3 confirming beeps but nothing after that - how long should it take to run the diagnostic and what does it mean if we don't get any beeps after the confirmation beeps? Any help would be appreciated.

Already checked batteries, connections and they look good so does the box that encloses the solenoid - it all looks new in there.

Ok - got the diagnostic to run, came back with 4/3 so it looks like a red wire on the solenoid is burnt. Do I only replace the wire or do I need to replace the entire unit, Solenoid and wires? Thanks so much - don't know what I'm doing here but we've only had the cart about 2 weeks and the kiddos are so sad that it stopped working - thanks again for any help

Hello, first look to see if you can figure out why it burned up. Do you see any crossed, dirty, loose, frayed connections anywhere? If not, replace the wire and try running it. If it does not run, you can bypass the solenoid by jumping the 2 large posts with a 6 gage jumper cable. I also attached the beep chart for your reference

Thanks Matti - everything else looks good - just the red wire at the top connection looks a bit burned. Looks like I replace the entire line of wires that are all bundled in the black plastic cord? Thanks for the beep chart - did have that one, that's what led me to the solenoid

I'm not there so I cant see what exactly what you are talking about, but I have a general idea and the answer is no. If its wrapped, covered, taped, ziptied... take it all off and have a look underneath. Replace each individual wire as necessary.
