Squeaky Sound when Depressing Gas Pedal

Gas Club Car - When taking off (pushing the gas pedal) there is a sound that I can only describe as squeaky. If I hold the pedal down for about 5 - 10 seconds while this sound is being made, the engine will start up and run great. Can anyone tell me is they have experienced this before or what the problem is?

Probably a loose starter belt, It should only give less that half an inch when pushing down on it with your fingers.
