what does it mean when you push the gas peddle and there is a clicking noise under the seat? It is a 1993 club car (gas)

it is in the black box under the seat. it will not start

Hi how long was the cart sitting? Is the battery fully charged?

it had only been sitting for about a week. When i pushed the gas pedal it took right off just like it always does. I stopped to close the garage door and thats when it started

It is coming from the clutch inside the round bell type housing

I think that it is in the clutch housing

Clicking noise coming from black box under the seat is probably the solenoid. Loose wire or any one of many problems including the solenoid itself.

hold gas pedal down & wiggle forward / reverse lever
