won't fire

have a gas club car that wont run. have checked and have spark, gas, and good compression. Valves appear to be working. Turns over but wont move. sprayed starter fluid in the carb but no combustion in the cylinder. Not sure what to check next. any ideas would be helpful. novice on club cars.
