"90 Club Car carb question

I have a 1990 club car. The engine went bad,so I swapped with what I was told is an '86 Club Car engine. It looks the same,but where one hose from fuel pump went on bottom of old engine, there is not a 'nipple?' to put the hose. Does anyone know where to put this hose? Thanks for any help.

02 club car gas-does engine have to come out to replace the coil, fires intermittently.
