  • Water in engine

Hey everyone...I was just given a club car pioneer 1200 that was in a flood. overall, it's in good shape however the previous owner had tried to start it and sucked water into the engine. There is also water and sediment in the fuel filters. The motor is not locked up and I'd like to try and get it running but not sure what steps I should take 1st. I've purchased new fuel filters, air and oil filters. Hope someone can help me out here. Thanks

Hello BigSoup, welcome to Golf Carts Forum,

Was it salt water or a fresh water flood? Always start first by draining all fluids (engine, differential, fuel tank) remove the spark plug and add oil to the cylinder and spin the engine by hand a good few times.
    Regards
