You can wire it to the key switch, look for the wire that puts out 12v when the key is in the on position. I am attaching the wiring diagram to this post for guidance, let me know if you have any questions!

Howdy Pete! That question reminds me of the time I tried to install a sprinkler in my garden. Figured it would be a walk in the park, just hook up some hoses and let ‘er rip. Well, turned out to be a slapstick spectacle. Ended up with a GEYSER in the middle of my yard that would’ve made Old Faithful jealous!! Every time I thought I had it figured out, another leak would pop up, and I’d be runnin’ around like a squirrel in a cornfield

Now 'bout your radio install, it kinda reminds me of my misadventures with that dang sprinkler. Sometimes, it’s all about findin' that right connection without causin' a flood of problems. You may need to tinker a bit to find that spot for hook up. Might take a little fiddlin' around with that wiring diagram and a pinch of good fortune, just like me wrestlin' around in the garden. Sometimes it's just about keepin' at it.
