My 92 Club Car DS wouldn't start, and through the forum here I found out the igniter was bad. Put in a new one and off we went...for about 30 minutes. Then no start again, just like before. I haven't changed anything else yet and wondered if it might be because it was the cheapest one on the 'Universe" or could something else be knocking it out. I also experimented a little after all that with a new condenser from a points ignition system ( it didn't work ). My question is "is there something else I need to do besides not buying the cheap junk, or maybe try the OEM part
92 DS not startiing......"again".

The aftermarket igniter could have internal circuitry breakdown from being unable to handle electrical surges or improper insulation leading to a short circuit. Substandard manufacturing processes in aftermarket parts can result in poor solder joints or weak connections causing intermittent failures or a complete breakdown.
Aftermarket parts are often significantly cheaper than OEM parts due to lower manufacturing costs, less stringent quality control, and the use of cheaper materials. This cost saving comes with downsides like reduced reliability and a higher likelihood of failure as you might have experienced. While non OEM parts are usually cheaper initially they often result in recurring issues and higher long term costs.
