Additives in fuel tank?

Is it a good idea......or an ok idea to use a carb cleaner or other fuel additive in golf cart engine? I never took a carb off to clean and wondered if it would do the same thing. THX as always!

Hey GAclubcar, Happy to help! Its good practice during winterization to add fuel stabilizer. You may not want to run any carburetor cleaners meant for cars in your golf cart. Nothing beats taking the carburetor off, disassembling it and cleaning it though! Mike Eddie
