1998 club car (gas) starting problems

Hi all,

Could not start my '98 Club Car (gas) the day after it ran perfect. Engine turns over, but no indication of firing. Checked spark plug (good but spark is white not blue). Fuel pump apparently pumping fine. Any suggestions as to what to do next?...Navyman

No the plug was not wet with gas. So I
I thought the problem was no gas.Pulled the carburator made sure no obstructions or dirt prsent. Reistalled it but still did not fire (did backfire once, that was it). I'm thinking it be a problem with the coil but I'm not sure about anything at this point.

Have you done a cylinder compression test?
