  • 97 CC Carryall 2 Docs and Accessories

I just bought a used '97 Carryall 2 Plus with the 350cc engine. I know nothing of these vehicles and I was a bit surprised there really wasn't much out there for my model for accessories or maintenance manual/data. My buggy came with no documents so all I know about specifications is whatever surviving decals indicate.

My question is where may I get a service manual and does anyone know about any good sites that offer parts and accessories for my model? I'm a little miffed about resources for my particular model. There sure seems to be the world of stuff for other models like the DS or Precedent.

My unit's previous owner was Disney World and they have a robust maintenance program. My CC was impeccably maintained and I want to continue that effort. I need tune up data to ensure I will replace all the fluids with the proper weight and quantity. I am also intending to install cab lights, 12v socket and such, so I need the wiring diagram to tap a switched power bus.

Any info from someone that has already blazed this trail would be helpful. Also any other factoid I should be aware of concerning my CC would be welcomed.

    Thanks, Juan

I’m glad to hear you’re keen on maintaining your Carryall 2 Plus. It’s a solid machine and it’s great that you want to keep it in great shape. I’ve attached the parts manual and the owner’s manual to get you started. These should cover a lot of the basics you’re looking for.

Installing cab lights is a smart move. Cab lights can make a big difference when you're navigating around. Plus they can give your cart a more polished and customized look.

Adding a 12v socket is another excellent idea. It’s incredibly useful for charging devices, powering small accessories, or even using a portable GPS. When installing the socket, you’ll want to tap into the key switch so that the socket powers on and off with the ignition. This prevents any accidental battery drain when the cart is not in use. To do this, locate the switched power wire connected to the key switch, and use a fuse tap to connect your 12v socket. Make sure you use the correct gauge wire and a suitable inline fuse to protect your wiring.

If you're planning more extensive electrical work, getting a wiring diagram will be key. It will help you avoid any mishaps and ensure everything is connected properly. Feel free to check out the diagrams section to see if the wiring diagram has been posted and feel free to reach out with any specific questions you might have. Enjoy your Carryall!
