gas club car air filter

my new engine doesnt have an air filter, just a big hole on the carb. will a K and N filter fit? i tried the kawasaki dealer they were useless. its a 2006 gas club car kawasaki engine

The air filter setup is a Club Car made item, and unfortunately Kawasaki will not carry it. On club Cars, the air filter has a built in choke. If you are willing to pull off the seat and hold your hand over the intake when cold starting every time, then you can put a custom air filter on, but if you would like the choke button to work you will need to purchase the air filter setup from Club Car. Or completely custom build one yourself, your choice

The air filter for a 2006 CC DS is PN 1015426.
