1996 Club Car Electric, more MPH please..

I have a 1996 36V electric Club Car. Seems to be a little on the slow side, anything that can be done to get a few more MPH out of it. Looking for cheap and not so cheap options. Any help is appreciated!!

Cheap side is that you can probably sneak another 6 volt battery in the pack to give you a boost. On the expensive side, you can think about purchasing a upgraded motor, clutch and rear gear ratio modifications.
