1996 Club Car no go

Hi, need of help with cart that will not move. All batteries are are fine 50v but solenoid does not operate.. Checked voltage on Red Terminal of solenoid 50V and yellow terminal 50V..with respect to the -ve terminal of the battery and 50V on the small red terminal of the solenoid. I can hear a faint click from the unit under the cart when the pedal is depressed. On/Off switch fine. A few weeks ago I was trapped in deep water and the cart stopped. Due I think to a soaked foot pedal unit. It was playing up during the last use and this time moved about a foot and stopped. Any help would be most welcome

First try jumping the solenoid. Run a jumper cable across the 2 large posts on the solenoid and see if it will run again. If not, you will know to look further.

Already jumped the solenoid and made no difference
