86 club car 36 volt electric

1986 club car 36volt electric cart with 5 solenoids stopped working. I found that the #1 solenoid terminal was kind of loose and melted where it bolts to the buss bar. I confirmed the problem by taking #5 and swapping to #1. The cart worked but not very fast and no hill climbing. So I ordered a new solenoid. I put the new soleniod on #1 spot and #5 back to the original location. My problem is the cart still runs slooooooow and weeeeeeeek. Should I have replace all 5 solenoids at one time? What is my porblem here?

No replacing all 5 solenoids is not needed. Do you hear 5 clicks as of now? Also, check the contacts on the pedal that they are making contact.
