2000 36v Clubcar, took it out of winter storage drove it two hundred feet stop tried to go forward again clicks but no forward gear . But will go in reverse all day if you want to. Tried solenoid, potentiometer, Forward reverse switch, micro switches nothing makes it go forward.
No go forward!

It definitely sounds like the battery pack is the issue, most likely you're dealing with one or more weak batteries that's pulling the system below 36 volts under load, which can cause exactly the symptoms you're seeing, clicks in forward with no motion, but still runs in reverse.
Forward draw typically pulls more current, so any weakness in the pack shows up there first. To confirm, start by lifting the rear wheels for safety and grabbing a digital voltmeter and setting it to DC volts, ideally in a range that can read up to at least 50V. Connect the red probe to the main positive on the battery pack and the black probe to the main negative, and take note of the voltage with the cart at rest, fully charged, you should see around 38.2 to 38.4 volts. If you’re seeing anything under 36.5 at rest, that’s already a sign the pack is tired and under a 50% state of charge. Now, keep the probes connected and press the accelerator in forward while watching the voltage. If it drops below 31 volts or dips sharply the moment you press the pedal, your batteries are collapsing under load. Try the same in reverse and compare how much it drops. This will help paint a clearer picture of how the pack is performing and whether you’re dealing with one weak link or a tired group.
From there, you can test each 6V battery individually by running the red and black probes across each individual battery the same way as before to isolate the troublemaker. Any individual battery under 6V needs attention or replacement.
