    2001 Club Car stutters on initial acceleration Batteries are all at 8 volts. total battery reading is 48 Volts. All new battery cables installed. Multi step potentiometer installed. Still stutters

    Just to clarify, let's start with the basics here. If your batteries are sitting at 8 volts each and your total battery pack is reading 48 volts, that's a sign your batteries are below a 50% state of charge. Fully charged, each 8volt battery should actually be closer to 8.49 volts, meaning a healthy pack should be giving you more than 50 volts in total, around 50.9 to 51.2 volts or higher. Anything below that means you're dipping into a lower state of charge and that could easily explain the stuttering you're experiencing on acceleration. See attached chart
