Battery discharge after 24month storage

I have a 48volt system (6-8volt batteries). It has been in storage now for about 2 and half years, the battaries are new too they just went striaght to storage from being new. The total voltage is soo low now that the 48vcharger will not charge them back up until a certain is voltage minimum is reached first. What is my best way of charging the 6-8volt batteries. The only chargers I have is a 12-volt battery charger and the 48 volt charger. Would I destory the single 8 volt batteries if I charge each one seperately on the 12 volt charger?

If the cart was not charged at all during that period your batteries are probably toast

First check the water levels on the batteries and their condition. That 12 volt charger is fine, charge each battery individually on low setting for 30 minutes, then install them on your cart and run a charge cycle.
