I have looked on line and cannot find any tutorials on how to remove the batteries from a 1997 48V electric Club car without removing the body. The center batteries are easy, but the ones on the passenger and driver are partially under the body and I cannot figure out how to get them out. Any help would be appreciated as I live 90 miles away from the nearest location to have a shop do it.

Have you tried rotating them to an angle where they can slide out, using a floor jack or small lift to give you some extra clearance? Sometimes, angling them diagonally can provide the needed space to slide them out without having to lift the body completely off. Another approach could involve removing only some of the body bolts, lifting the body only somewhat, and removing specific components like the seat or other adjacent parts, to create more room for maneuvering the batteries out. It might take some trial and error, but a creative angle or strategic disassembly might just do the trick!Updated by golfcartg; December 17, 2023, 05:09 PM.
