  • 2002 Club Car DS Electric Won't Go Intermittantly

I use it twice a day, 365 days a year.
I use it to haul firewood, get the mail, pull the garbage bin up to the street and plow snow.
I plug in the charger every night.
    Batteries are 2 years old.
I parked it in the barn, came back 8 hours later and it would not go. (35 degrees F)
I tried it a couple of times a day until the service man came 2 days later.
When he arrived, it was working! (23 degrees F)
He just tightened up the battery bolts and left.
2 days later, it wouldn't go again! (15 degrees F)
I can hear a click when I depress the accelerator pedal, and again when I release it.

Take each cable off and wire brush cable ends and bat. Posts and reinstall 15-20lbs torque tight but not Gorilla tight, you may find corroded cable end lug that has gotten smaller due too loose connection heat, dont be cheap replace these, also check cables on Motor end. Do not assume a solenoid is good because it clicks.

Incidentally I run a Golf Cart repair small shop about 80 or 90 repairs per Summer here in MI.
