stuck wheel drum

I have an obvious brake pad noise in my 2003 Cllub Car. At times the pad rubs on the drum making a intermittent rubbing noise. MY PROBLEM IS, I cannot get the brake drum off the spindle. Is there a way to back off the brakes on this self adjusting brake system so the drum will be free for removal ??????? bjwdk1@embarqmail.com

Try disconnecting or loosening the cable from behind the brake backing plate. On some backing plates is a rubber plug, by removing the plug you can get access to the back side of the adjuster. Also see http://www.golfcartsforum.com/ezgo-e...kes-stuck.html
