So, just because a solenoid clicks doesn't necessarily mean it is functioning correctly. The clicking sound indicates that the solenoid's internal coil is receiving enough voltage to activate the plunger, but it doesn't guarantee that the electrical contacts within the solenoid are making a proper connection. Therefore, we need to test the solenoid's functionality with a multimeter to confirm it’s conducting electricity properly, not just relying on the clicking sound (see solenoid test in attached troubleshooting guide). After that, the next step should be to perform a battery load test to assess their condition accurately. Even though your batteries are showing 50 volts or above on a meter, this measurement alone doesn't guarantee their ability to maintain that voltage under load conditions. The sudden loss of power may stem from loose connections, which can disrupt electrical flow and cause intermittent issues. Next, check all connections, battery terminals, solenoid, motor, and controller, to confirm they are securely fastened and free from corrosion. Once verified and all of the above has been checked, proceed with the troubleshooting guide attached to this post. Let us know how far you can get, and if you have any questions feel free to ask!
