92 cc key switch

Does the key switch on my 92 club car break ground? Or where is it getting its power from if it is wired in the micro switch on the f/r switch and the battery charger recepticle?

There are two different carts for that year, both 36 volt one is a resistor and the other is a controller cart which one do you have
