2007 CC Precedent 48v

I have a 2007 CC Precedent 48v (4-12's). I will be adding electrical accessories to it as money allows. Do I get a converter and add a fuse block or is it already wired that way? Will be adding headlights/taillights, radio, cigar lighter possibly and whatever else arises. Want to do it right from the ground up not just tie to this battery and to that one. please advise..thanks

It really comes down to usage, how many amps will you be using, and will the use be constant.

there are three basic ways to do it with variances for each

1. use one or more of the 12 volt batteries for accessories.
spread out the current across the batteries (balance the load).

2. use a converter, I prefer one that uses all batteries.

3. install another smaller marine or deep cycle battery.
this setup can be charged from the carts charger or using a separate charger.

again how much are you going to be using.

I acutually already have the converter, but a little confused on whats going on. I mean once I mounted and wired in like the instructions said, I'm standing there with a 12 pin female connector....now what.

think i got it...wiring harness.

The converter you got was it application specific??

not sure...picked up a custom cart radio console and thought I would get a 48-12 converter/reducer? to wire it through...I will be adding lights later. The converter is a Club Car model. Got all of this at the dealer.

got the radio up and running.....just found 12v in the 12 pin connector...goin to order lights and hopefully a harness that comes with the male 12 pin plug...
