Hi, I just got a light kit from through the net and got it all hooked up. The only issue is that the lights dont look very bright. After some research it appears that you might have to hook it up to certain batterys to get the best out of it. Does anyone have any info on this or could help. I have a 1996 Club cart 48v with 6 8 volt batteries. thanks

you probably only have it hooked to 1 battery. take 2 batteries that are side by side, hook up pos to pos of one battery, neg to neg of next battery, they can not be linked . you know how your battery cables go from pos to neg. you cant use those two becuz your still only using one battery, sounds confuseing but look at the cart & you'll understand what i mean. -
Take a volt meter and find 12 volts are if it's club car 16 volts depending on the batteries in it.
Hook to either of them for the lights!
