  • Erratic Performance 05 Precedent electric

Having issues with the cart being faster on some days than other. The other day I put it in foward and nothing happened. Switched Rev to For a few times and nothing. Turned off on/off switch and put it back on and worked again. Ocassionaly see the low battery light flash on and then go aff after a few minutes as it just sits in the garage not charging.

I checked batteries 12 hours after full charge and they were all 12.84 to 12.98 (disconnected). 4-12 volt batteries checked water level and good in all cells. They were replaced new 8 months ago when I purchased the cart. Cables look good. Connections are clean.

Any ideas of where to start?
Key swith, fwd/rev switch, do you think it is a short?

It is definately slower than when I bought it 8 months ago.
    No accesories on the cart.

this used to happen to me what I found was I had my foot on go pedal and it would not reset until I let off the pedal turning the key off did the same thing.

check cables first then we will move on to battery testing read the post above or below this one.

That is a lot of defferance in charge state of the batteries. I would look at the charger and make sure it's working properly.
As stated clean everything good. Make sure you clean the ring terminals of the cables on both sides.
