  • 96 Club Car rebuild

    Hi everyone !!!
Wife inherited a 96 Club Car 48v electric model (bone stock). I am getting it tightened up for her. Very much on a budget and can not go wild as i would like to.
Things i would like to do.
-Lift it a couple inches (can this be done cheaply with some spacers, or is an expensive kit required)?
-add some rear tires with some bite (just a little bite as stock tires are smooth profile). Probably can not buy new rims.
-Have no idea what to do with the rear. Still has the golf bag holders and straps. and basket. Would like to do something back there to make it usefull for her, but the 4-5-$600 seat conversion is not in the budget.
Cart will be used for joy rides to adjacent property and odd jobs around the homefront.
    Any ideas everyone?
    Thanks in advance,
    Steven

    to GCF Steven!
Economy lift kits can be had for less than $200.
18"-20" tires with a more aggressive tread than normal are about $50 each.
Unless you have an idea of what you want for your rear deck, you're stuck with the $300+ rear flip seat.
