  • average amount of power drawn from a golf cart battery ?

what is the amount of power drawn from a golf cart battery pack when the golf cart is in use?
according to my calculation for my golf cart which has a 48V 200Ah battery pack,it came up to a 110Amp draw on an average and 150Amp peak.
i am really not sure whether this is the correct answer ,if anyone knows the answer in terms of Amp or Watts or the method to calculate please help.

Normal 36v golf carts while cruising will draw from 70-80 amps, 48v carts have a reduced amperage flow due to increased voltage.
Peak draw is limited by the controller and the size of the cables.

thankyou for replying, its a relief to hear that the amp reading i calculated is more than the usual range, actually i am using a golf-cart setup(controller, and motor) for my project,ie to design a electric bike,i am thinking of replacing the original heavy LEAD ACID battery pack of 48V by a smaller and lighter lithium-ion battery pack of 48V,
is there any problem in doing this?i will not charge the batteries through the golf cart charger,i'll have a different charger for that,
      please advice me on this...

LI batteries will work fine and are available from multiple sources.
Golf cart motors do not have an end bell on them and fasten directly to the rear axle assembly. You may want to consider using a motor with an endbell.
Here's a link to some examples: Conversion Motors

my slightly modified cart pulls around 32A once it reaches top speed. at launch however, it can pull well over 300A.

aside from being a little heavy and large, you should have no problems with a series golf cart controller on your e-bike. hope you share some photos of your build! cheers!
