    Hi everyone,

I'm Tim. I have an '89 CC DS electric. I bought it late last spring to use at our campground. I'll post some pics of it when I'm at my home computer.

The cart was brought back from the dead by me. I had to put tubes in two tires, a set of batteries, and repaired some cracked fiberglass before I gave it a highly expensive paint job. I also had to install new brake cables, the left one was stuck. We plan on adding decals here and there to make the cart resemble a NASCAR stock car. Complete with headlight and taillight decals and such.

I just bought a rear flip seat kit for the kids. I'll install it when the weather turns this spring.

I look forward to offering, and receiving advice on these vehicles.

          Ha Ha, I like that.

Sounds kinda like the drag racing guys saying, "How fast do you want to go?"

I'll try to get pics up before the weekend is out. Right now, I'm on a "shared" computer.

                I'm working on it!

I would like to start a museum of carts if I could afford it.

There was a lot of sanding and body repair needed. There was fiberglass repair needed at the rear corners of the body. I filled the holes for the rear fender protectors. I would say that there was twelve to maybe fifteen hours involved in the repair/ prepwork.

I gave myself tha goal of having the cart complete, both road ready, and looking sharp, within three weeks. That includes me working ten hour days. The entire job, start to finish ran me close to $700.00. Primer, paint, and clearcoat being the most expensive. I didn't go cheap on the liquids. I even bought an electric orbital sander and Meguiar's buffing and glazing pads and compounds to speed up the work.

I painted the cart during the work week.

I primered on a Tuesday, painted on Wednesday, and clear coated on Thursday. All together, including cleaning the gun and mixing paint, I would say there's an honest nine hours in spraying alone.
